Worship Ministry


To promote reverence of the Triune God, joy, thanksgiving, awe and a genuine hunger for the preaching of the Word, congregational worship at Christ Presbyterian Church seeks to be characterized by:



  • A conscious recognition and reverence for the special, Holy Presence of the Almighty God
  • A consistent reading and dynamic proclamation of the truths of the Bible, God's Holy Word.
  • A thoughtful selection of hymns and anthems which are true to the Scriptures, with a musical style that is becoming of the message being conveyed.
  • A public expression of the historic truths of the Christian faith.
  • A thankful offering of gifts unto the Lord.
  • A meaningful time of prayer.
  • A faithful, periodic administration of the Lord's Sacraments:
    Baptism and the Lord's Supper

          Under the oversight of the Session, the Pastor, with the assistance of the Music Director-Organist, prepare the order of worship for Sunday morning services with elements that are true to the Scriptures and the Reformed Faith as set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith. Sunday morning worship is offered in the traditional worship style.
