Fellowship Ministry
The Fellowship Ministry at CPC seeks to provide opportunities for the body of Christ to come together in Christian fellowship sharing ourselves, our gifts, and our talents with each other and our community. Many of these events are co-sponsored by the Outreach Ministry and the Women's Ministry Council.

FELLOWSHIP MEALS
- Every other month fellowship meals are held immediately after the Sunday Morning Worship Service. These are potluck lunches and our guests are always welcome to attend and are not expected to contribute to the meal.
- Typically the meal in January is catered and helps to "kick off" the new year.

SUPPER CLUB
- Those wishing to participate in the Supper club are assigned to a group of 6 to 8 (couples and singles). The groups meet quarterly to share a meal together and get to know each other better. The times and meeting places are flexible and determined by each individual group. This is a unique way of getting to know those we worship with on Sunday morning better and in a relaxed and informal setting. New groups are formed each fall.
SENIORS' FELLOWSHIP BREAKFASTOn the second Thursday of the month our Seniors have breakfast together, usually at a restaurant nearby. At this blessed fellowship time they share what is going on their prayer concerns. There is also meditation from Scripture and a time of prayer. Check some pictures at the Photo Gallery. Please consider attending.
ANNUAL EVENTS
- A church wide picnic takes place during the summer and is typically held on a Sunday afternoon at a local park.
- In the fall we gather for our annual Fall Festival which includes Chili and Pie Cook-offs. There are activities for the children and square dancing or singing around the campfire for everyone. The Chili contest is a plus in the festival.
- An additional family favorite is Game Night where everyone brings their favorite game to play and we share pizza, snacks, and baked goodies.
- A highlight of the year is the opportunity to attend the "Christmas with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra" program in Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center. This is a
glorious celebration of the season as the greatest story ever
told is presented through music. Church members are able to purchase tickets in early October.
SPECIAL EVENTS
- This past year CPC was blessed to hold two special music concerts.
- In the fall, the Gospel Joy Choir of Poland visited for an evening of uplifting and engaging choral music.
- In the spring, five musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra presented an"Evening of Chamber Music" including Violin Sonata No. 5 in F Major "The Spring" by Beethoven and the Clarinet Quintet by Mozart. Concerts of this type are open to the public and held free of charge.
- These events are followed by a fellowship time with refreshments in our Fellowship Hall. Some pictures of these events may be seen in our Photo Gallery.
